Postu gösterIt was an honour to join General Jennie Carignan, Canada’s Chief of the Defence Staff, and Senator Salma Ataullahjan in recognizing 12 exceptional Muslim women during Canadian Islamic History Month. Postu gösterIt was wonderful to meet with the new Latvian Ambassador Katarina Plātere last week. Ties between our two countries are strong, and we spoke about continuing to deepen this relationship going forward. We also discussed Operation Reassurance and Canada’s leadership role there.

Postu gösterThis morning, I had the pleasure of attending Governor General Louise Arbour’s presentation of the Governor General’s Awards in Commemoration of the Persons Case to the 2025 and 2026 laureates.
