The consultation response also seems to suggest that those with refugee status who haven't applied for ILR yet will get moved onto core protection - so presumably at the end of their current 5 years leave will get 30 months leave with another 15/25 years to settlement.

Postu gösterYes: that’s true. It would be coherent to say that anyone who has committed any criminal offence should be subject to that whether that resulted in a caution / conditional caution (which are not convictions but admissions); or discharges (which are not convictions per s.82(2)).
