It’s true! I feel like Nigella overall responding in way more positive ways than Paul to non-white people flavors is also making him look extra out of his element. 💀 The show has never been great at not defaulting to othering other cultures, but it feels like Paul hasn’t tried to expand his palette.

That was wild! But we live in a country with a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and influence. My partner never had Vietnamese food in the UK. He was completely unsurprised that Paul didn't know.

I should add the disclaimer that my experience is a very small vacation subset so I may have just been lucky in where I scoped out places to eat
