Postu gösterAlso, those prefabs you showed at the end, in Harrow, were the same exact style (lower concrete, upper pre-fab metal) that were built in Doxey, Stafford, not far from Stafford Castle. possibly built by POWs from what is now Trentham Gardens. I lived in one of them in the very early 80s.
Postu gösterI see you show Cannock Chase, but did you know that Trentham Gardens in Stoke-on-Trent, was also a site of a POW camp. Not sure if its confirmed, but I heard many stories of it from old folk who remembered it. Supposedly it was infamous for the brutal treatment of prisoners.
