I love fighting stigma, ableism, and saneism as much as the next guy obviously, but I do see some posts sometimes that are like blaming horrific behavior on mental illness/justifying it, and while it’s true that certain diagnoses can come with toxic behavior, it’s up to us to correct those behaviors
Postu göster“You just hate mentally ill people!” No, I could never. I am severely mentally ill myself. What I hate is anti-recovery sentiment and spreading the narrative that you can behave any way you’d like just because of ur diagnosis. It’s extremely hard to recover, but not impossible. Let’s at least try!
