Junie for the file under the cursor, Claude Code or Codex in a terminal pane for multi-file work. IDE agent owns navigation and local edits. Terminal agent owns the long loop with tests. One shared AGENTS.md between both stops them inventing different project rules mid-task.

Nice, the agent inherits the user's blast radius instead of getting a new one. Do you still tag agent-initiated commands in the logs? Same permissions, but when something goes wrong it helps to know who actually typed it.
