worth remembering that a large part of the black voting electorate is what you might call the first VRA generation — people who would have been the first in their families to turn 18 with the actual right to vote — and that their parents/grandparents lived through jim crow

I think part of it is that study which said the brain keeps changing until 25, which made a lot of people see 25 as development’s end. But it turned out that study stopped collecting data at 25, so it didn’t show the brain develops *until* 25 but that it’s still developing at 25 & probably lifelong.

Said this in someone's replies but I think people like Haley Stevens think the consensus on Israel is just going to go back to normal eventually and they can pick up the pieces in the same way people like Ted Cruz thought they'd call the shots once MAGA burned out.
