    Yes, the people who made the chatbot should suffer a penalty for this but, so too, should *every* *single* journalist who pushed the marketing bullshit (provided by the companies) such that people were tricked into believing that a chatbot is intelligent and can provide information.

    (3/3) A lot of the stuff in my games that's like "no, players can see everything at all times unless the rules explicitly say otherwise, including the NPCs' stat blocks and the GM's dice rolls" is motivated by pushing back against that tendency.

    a. "Strike Witches" is based on WWII-era military aviation, which is a solid thirty years too late for the period I'm talking about; and b. steampunk isn't real; the aviation tech fuckery I'm talking about very much is!

    As someone who actually played and enjoyed 4E this is always so frustrating, 4E isn't a flawless game (though for what I want out of DnD the best iteration) but trying to actually discuss its flaws you'd first need weed out all the mis info which is *ugh*
