I want SO MUCH MORE than prosecution of any individual could possibly deliver & don't tell me we can do both they are projects inherently at odds w/ each other - one deploys feeds & fuels the machinery of fascism we say we reject, the other brings us closer to a world where it is no longer possible.

Postu gösterI want divestment from all machinery of war, surveillance, policing, criminalization & punishment that made this possible, I want compensation for every boat blown out of the water, every drone strike, cluster bomb, rape, stillbirth, every single atrocity of genocide funded with our tax dollars.
Postu gösterI don't want expensive prosecutions that lead nowhere, I want the system that enabled & enacted the harm to be defunded & abolished, I want to ensure the people in them aren't just permitted to fade back into positions "regular" police, prisons, jails, probation & parole, I want closure of ALL camps
Postu gösterI'm just going to say this for now: I DON'T want prosecutions, I want REPARATIONS, which include *consequences* like being removed from office & losing power & opportunity to continue & repeat harm, but focus on REPAIR to people & communities harmed NOT fueling the systems that produce the harm.
