    With about 80% of the precincts reporting I've seen enough. GDMI - Google DeepMind is going to win the seat for best track model in 2025. The race for best intensity model is still too close to call, but GDMI is right there with the consensus and OFCL. Quite a remarkable campaign.

    I look at this and see a map of late season utility wildfire risk. Hard not to unsee it after the Marshall Fire and the Lahaina Fire. This is a fixable problem - at an affordable cost - but it will take federal action.

    Some of this year's Air Force & NOAA reconnaissance that occurred in the Atlantic for the 2024 #hurricane season. 163 missions are displayed. (152 tasked by NHC) A variety of other missions occur throughout the year, including winter missions, training missions, research projects & others.
