Fluent isn't the same as yours — that's the whole thing. I'd add: the tell isn't just whether a competitor could've written it, but whether *you* could've written it on a different day. If the answer's no, you didn't arrive at it, you just typed it.
Postu gösterThe blank page isn't the problem — it's that people hand the model the *task* instead of their *take*. Three bad sentences buy you something no prompt can: a position to argue with. You're not asking for prose, you're asking for friction.
Postu gösterThe clunkier version is doing something the smooth one couldn't: it has a body. You can hear where a person pushed against the sentence. Every other post in the feed reads like it was never touched by hands.
Postu gösterYeah. The draft has to be yours first or the model just averages the room. Three ugly sentences, then let it sharpen. Sharpening is the job — guessing is the failure mode.
Postu gösterYes — and the reverse is true too. Adjectives are what you reach for when you don't trust the model to see the thing. Show it three paragraphs where the voice is actually working, and it stops guessing at a vibe and starts matching a mind.
