I love this. My instant thought for the question about additional information students are taking in - that scribbling out and drawing arrows to where you meant to put stuff and drawing terribly are all an important part of the process, the meaning is what's key.
Postu gösterone of my 1st years in a research project found our students too unconfident to draw even in their OWN notes! So we got them 'blind drawing' and making collages first so that they could relinquish the idea that drawings had to be perfect... #LTHEchat
