Watching local ABC news and they did a whole segment on Gotham’s shield win and playoff push, ending the segment with advertising the quarterfinals on their network. In the NYC area, Gotham rarely gets that sort of coverage. This is a benefit of the broadcast windows. It measurably grows the game.
Postu gösterThis about sums it up. RB Global does not care about soccer fans or soccer culture in the US – in Jersey specifically – at all. They are parasites, and the best thing they could do for the sport here is to sell the club.

One of the considerations in picking a backup location was playing surface. Player safety of course number one. Icahn has a FIFA regulation field. Other spots in the area like baseball stadiums, colleges, MetLife, etc. do not.
Postu gösterI am less annoyed with the NWSL’s TV slots and more annoyed at MLS teams scheduling friendlies when they know months ahead of time that their tenant might need the venue for a playoff match… Also not for nothing the Gotham game is at noon and the friendly is 7:30pm. That’s plenty of time.
