One person who lost a significant amount of power? Sen. John Fetterman. Had Democrats won only a 52-seat majority, He's Joe Manchin. Someone who gained power? Sen. Lisa Murkowski. She doesn't even need to worry about Peltola, she is the top Republican on Appropriations now.

After the runoff, I asked one of my best friends who works in Houston politics what Talarico’s margin in Harris County need to be to beat Ken Paxton. He said Talarico would need 750,000 Talarico beat Beto’s margin by 207,417 votes. Paxton received 47,122 FEWER VOTES THAN TED CRUZ DID!!!
