Israel is a constant heartbreak for me. I grew up in the time of Golda Meir, when American kids went to work on kibbutzim, when the country was turning desert into cropland and stood as the sole beacon of democracy n the ME. IMO, it has been laid low by Bibi and his thugs. I'm praying for a change.

Someone asked me for tips on photographing birds in flight. I would say make sure your shutter speed is fast for the smaller birds. 1/2000 at least. If your camera has subject tracking, use it. BUT most important is practice panning. Regardless of your gear, you have to be able to follow the bird.
