I've not had much bird-finding luck for a while so it was nice to change that yesterday with Norfolk's first Black-faced Bunting. On its own and feeding in the Suaeda, it became restless and increased calling late morning before seemingly moving on, sadly meaning few got to see it. #NorfolkBirding

A day of rare Wheatears & white rumps! Long overdue tick at Sammy’s Point, Pied Wheatear #438 ✅ Amur Stonechat still present. At Easington, a smart but forlorn looking Desert Wheatear (m), Rough-legged Buzzard, Brambling (f) & Barn Owl. Sadly Eastern Bonelli’s didn’t show, but still a fab day!
