It's already cool that we can use neural responses to *invisible* flickers of different frequencies to track covert attention (with RIFT), but in a new preprint we show you can even track attention between tags at the same frequency (using phase): www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6... (1/4)
Postu gösterHow much of a risk are LLM-generated bots for online behavioral experiments? We present results of an entirely natural language prompt-generated agent, capable of absolving any of the 26 experiments we tested it on. Most tasks are passed with data that can pass as human osf.io/preprints/ps... (1/)
Postu gösterGood morning @ecvp.bsky.social! ☕If you are wondering how imagery and perception interact and compete, and how to quantify these competitive interactions in visual cortex with fMRI,🧠please drop by the poster session this afternoon and chat with me about my newest study (with @peelen.bsky.social)
Postu gösterIf you are at #ECVP2026 drop by my poster this afternoon on categorical storage of visual working memory content. TLDR: humans are lazy. Memorizing color category instead of hue reduces memory load. Thus, recall is biased toward category prototypes, especially when attentional resources are low.
Postu gösterLooking forward to seeing you all at ECVP2026 in Bournemouth! If you a see a cap (or @arora-borealis.bsky.social & @lassedietz.bsky.social with a CAP-Lab logo) don't hesitate to drag us into a conversation about RIFT, working memory, consciousness, attention, or -just- life. See you there! #ECVP
