    Seriously, stop treating Jews like political footballs. Nothing about this weekend will make Jews safer — but it will almost certainly lead to us being blamed (no matter the outcome of the Senate race).

    We’ve repeatedly seen non-Jewish politicians question @schumer.senate.gov’s Jewishness when they don’t like his decisions. Trump calls him “Palestinian” (both antisemitic and racist). Now Lawler calls him a “shonda.” Disagree with policy. Don’t reinforce dangerous good Jew/bad Jew tropes.
