    I have enjoyed writing fanfic and flash, but my writing style is *definitely* not conducive to flash. And as much as I like it, they always end up as the beginning to something else. I am a novella+ sized writer, and have learned a lot - but my brain and writing style just doesn't fit in flash.

    I spent much of this year writing things I thought I had to , because that's what others were doing and clearly they were Right! But I have found that it's not what I want. So I'm going back to what brings me joy: queer Regency, bi4bi medieval shenanigans, a sapphic fox spirit & her reluctant wife.

    Stopped at the Army base to fill up the car with gas and was chatting on the phone to my husband when this car comes in absolutely blasting music and rendering the phone call inaudible. It's kind of comforting to know that Joe never changes.

    People think I’m a crazy person when I say this is the most explicitly anti-Catholic administration since at least the turn of the 20th century. Just because JD Vance is “Catholic” now and bishop Barron acts as his surrogate with Trump doesn’t mean it isn’t so.
