    (3/3) As UK public (inc many pro #EU folks) believe #FOM is an unconditional free-for-all, having controls in place would look different. It would also put #Brexit apologists in a difficult place as if they claimed it wasn't new, they'd be admitting they lied about FOM being "uncontrolled" before.

    (2/3) This would mean #EU citizens coming to UK having to show they meet #FOM criteria (job/own funds + health cover) to be allowed to stay longer than 3m. I'd suggest it should be managed by local councils not Home Office.

    (1/3) #EU single market has FOUR freedoms, free movement of people is one. It cannot be negotiated. End of. I've said many times UK just needs #FOM registration system like many EU countries have. I experienced this in Belgium in 1998!

    The whole weight of the UK government is trying to crush trans people like me and I’m just here trying to raise my daughter. She loves the moon, she gets so excited whenever she sees it in the sky so I decided to give her a closeup and show her some astronomy.
