Whether you want sex a lot, not at all, or anywhere in between, says absolutely zero about your morality or maturity. Survivors of sexual abuse can get up in our heads about what our relative sex drive supposedly "means" about us-- but it's all just BS. You know, Belief Systems.

CPTSD survivors get conditioned to believe that in order to be loved-- or even tolerated-- we have to reduce ourselves. Hold things back. Not be truly seen or known, or else we'll be shamed, rejected, abandoned. Remind yourself: this is conditioning. Programming. Bullsh*t.

Contrary to what CPTSD is whispering in your ear right now, there is absolutely nothing wrong w/ wanting someone's attention & affection. Even wanting it a lot. And but also: their feelings or behavior toward you do not create or reflect your lovability, intelligence, or worth.
