Labour are trying to bully everyone into defending Genocide. They made a phony apology, continue to sell arms licences to Israel and whip their MPs to defend it at all costs. We will not cower. We will not be bullied from speaking the truth. Join.greenparty.org.uk

Israel killed eight people including a child in Gaza this weekend as they continue their genocide. After a weekend of arresting pensioners for protesting against this horror, Labour has today collapsed local agreements putting Israel far above serving our local communities.

It seems war is coming to the Green Party. This war is a familiar one. Something similar (but not quite the same) played out in the Labour party in 2015-2019. The dominant liberal tendency in the Green Party has been supplanted by the socialist tendency and they aren't going to take it laying down.

So we'll take no lectures from the likes of @adrianramsay.bsky.social on "approach". They couldn't have ever delivered the kind of success Zack has. They certainly wouldn't have been able to oust a failing PM nor have inspired thousands of people like me to join or even stand for our party and win.

I myself would never have joined the Green Party if it wasn't for the vision he presented. I joined to vote for him, because it was too important, and expected to then leave. Instead I stayed. This time last year if you told me I'd be councillor the following year I'd have laughed in your face.
