    just in general if someone is part of a minority group (for example an artist you look up to) i would advise against going up to them and unprompted asking if your character, which happens to be the same minority, is "okay" or "inoffensive." please try to look to sensitivity readers.

    please either look for a sensitivity reader or ask public questions where many folks at once can (willing) respond on their own free time, rather than going up to trans artists and asking hyper specific questions that they truly cannot answer then and there.

    i'm not a one stop shop for being the moral judge of your own trans characters if you're cis. and i don't have time to study the ins and outs of other people's stories for context to give that decision when it's not my job to do so.

    i've gotten a handful of dms and inbox questions over time from (i presume) cis individuals who have asked for my input/feedback on making their trans characters, and while i do appreciate people coming to me for advice on that, i'm not a sensitivity reader. so i won't respond to those inquiries
