    itch literally already has a no-AI tag - under threat of banning from the service if you don't use it correctly - that's fully filterable so you never see AI games. Which is a THOUSAND times more than steam is doing. And you're mad they won't make a snap policy decision off of a random post?

    I mean they did that because they were under existential immediate legal and financial threat. It was that or INSTANTLY no one on itch ever gets paid ever again. This AI slop sucks but I don't think we should be demanding all their policy decisions be made as if under duress

    Is "there's literally only one person fulltime" mismanagement or just "there's literally only one person fulltime"? I really think people MASSIVELY underestimate how much time it takes to do anything new when you're also in charge of keeping a site functional.

    God, that's a huge undertaking tho. I'm not saying it shouldn't happen, but "set up an entire system for community moderation and appoint people to it and make sure there's enough oversight that there isn't a scandal of ppl absuing it is" is a long term project.
