Next week I'm off to Woods Hole to talk about low-cost ocean sensors and run a CTD building workshop. Next month I'm off to Kyoto to talk to giant virus researchers and look at a pipe that connects a small fishing village to the abyssal depths, for fun and science! Do they have a mascot? Yes!
