like I am sorry but I do not think just boycotting all of this is going to kill the current almost-monopoly of 3 companies trying to rule the world with their closed AI ecosystems stealing all kinds of data, the only way out of this is regulation and open weight stuff imho

every time I come back to this website I have the same discussion over running open weight LLMs locally again and again and every time I am accused of going "mask off" when my most viewed video on YT is me running deepseek on my 3090 to poison ai data scrapers like why does this keep happening lol

to be clear: i’m extremely against all kinds of slop and would pass laws to completely make it illegal to do stuff like using ai generated imagery in commercials + i think we need to start working on measures to protect workers and artists from this tech moving forward as i have always been btw
