Postu gösterYeah that's interesting, I've read some other opinions that draw similar parallels (not sure about that song in particular). I personally did not hear much of Is This It, but I have been trying! The tracks I do like from the album I have been replaying a good bit
Postu gösterI'm beginning to get a little worried that Reality Awaits might be a step back for the old gang. The New Abnormal was such an excellent late career release, but I don't hear the same energy on these singles. We'll see soon!
Postu gösterGreat write up! I found "I Kinda Like That" fun and the Militarie Gun/Mannequin Pussy track is definitely interesting. The Strokes track, and really the whole album, is a total miss for me on the other hand. Polarizing I suppose, I am on the "not for me" side but I still love The Strokes
