    But when it comes to AI, it seems like these execs are personally intervening in the direct strategy and ops of the corps they're in charge of, and you're starting to see all these captain's calls of hitching your finances to a counterparty with significant credit risk. If they're business idiots...

    I feel like an undernoticed hallmark of the current era of tech is that a bunch of the tech CEOs and execs are personally involved in decision making around acquisition and procurement when they wouldn't have E.g. Larry Ellison was not opining on the BAU Oracle database licensing contracts.
