Postu gösterNot a professional thing to have said to you! Anyone is entitled to their opinion on a writing style's tone or mood, but how could someone deny the writer's own interiority? It's their expression, not just a word choice. If you made them uncomfortable, maybe that speaks to your effectiveness.
Postu gösterReally unbelievable and yet…it really does give a stark reminder of how people perceive illness, stories about illness, etc, and while I spend so much time with genuinely good illness narratives, I need to remember that most people are seeking & receiving very different stories
