    But, let's carry on carrying on. I hope Ex Partum will find a new home, and in a few years this will just be a weird story. I hope that I'll have so many books out, I'll barely remember. For someone who writes an awful lot of dystopia, I have hope.

    I'm conscious this reads somewhat flat. Trust me when I say I'm feeling anything but. This whole palaver blows my mind. And, honestly, it seems to me like an incredible own goal by Atthis.

    TL;DR ctd: I re-posted @jasonsanford.bsky.social's blog post that spoke about his experience of all of this. I said that all the drama made me feel anxious. I no longer have a book out.

    TL;DR: The editor of Atthis Arts spent more time baiting people online than marketing their catalogue of books (including, but not limited to, mine). People called her on vagueposting & bullying. I named a discomfort with power imbalance and immature behaviour.
