  New paper shows high GHG footprint for H2 made from methane pyrolysis pubs.rsc.org/ee/article/d... @mzjacobson.bsky.social & I (2021) also found high footprint for "blue" H2 made by classic SMR technology & CO2 capture onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.... H2 from methane is simply a bad idea.

  I hope we will see the US mid-terms not only as the beginning of the end of MAGA but also as the beginning of the end of the Democratic old guard, as younger people who want to change the rotten system take seats. A choice between red and blue genocide-denying corporate stooges is no choice at all.

  Scenarios used by the IPCC assume that we will see *massive* increases in novel carbon removal. But the problem is there is no *real evidence* to justify these scenarios.   It's no longer left versus right, liberals versus conservatives or even Democrat versus Republican. It’s now democracy versus oligarchy. Freedom versus dictatorship. Right versus wrong. Know the stakes. Get out the vote on November 3.
