Naval aviation community noped out of the nuclear mission as soon as they could post Cold War and for good reason. Nukes are a hassle on a carrier (separate magazines, extra crew quals, safety fears) and as time went on they did not certify new planes for it. F/A-18D is the last iirc

the only plausible means to do such a strike is with the air leg, the bombers are not kept generated day to day, and if they was an order given to generate you'd have heard about it in the news between it leaking and other means of observation
