"Tectonic" is something that happens extremely slowly. Its use annoys me in this context. See also "sea-change", which is likewise a gradual process. And "quantum leap" which is literally the smallest change that can possibly occur. "Seismic" is fine though.
Postu gösterI lived in Oxford for three years. My one of my mothers lives here. Several of my friends live and work here. I used to be a visiting fellow. Yet no amount of repetition, rote learning or outright mockery will free from my deepseated belief that the river here is called “The Ox”.
