i appreciate all of this and agree with most, but idk if i fully agree? like, i agree that the blanket of "bad america" ignores the voices of so many who have been fighting the whole time, and it's easy but wrong to lump everything together; it's also been really scary watching -
Postu göstereverything there from a country that isn't just physically close but also often will follow the political directions the US is going, and is in a perpetual state of "the US right now could absolutely be Canada in 2-5 years" at any given time, and watching the people who were wrong and loud about -
Postu gösterit basically carve out a path for the US but that Canada inevitably winds up toddling down after the US trying to follow them.. it really has felt like watching decisions made not just for the states by those loud+wrong people, but for Canada too, but without the voting power. I'm not saying -
Postu gösterthrilled and celebrating not (just) that America made such good collective choices, but because of how directly canada is affected -- that the US did good but also that that indicates a better future here too; that canada won't be dragged deeper into it all as well... if that makes sense?
