If an exclusive is not appealing enough to result in any tangible benefit then it's a waste to keep it so. Yes, Saros should be multiplat. Yes, spending every dime to secure the marketing rights would have been FAR more beneficial.
Postu gösterReleasing the game on PS5 (or switch for that matter) isn’t recouping the circa $500 million cost. Not even close. So I imagine the logic was “we’re going to lose money on this either way so let’s use it as a tool to promote the platform” Or something like that.
