Disability is not a moral failing It’s not something that you can outrun with healthy living It’s not something you can “try harder” your way out of It will happen to almost everyone, and believing you’re morally superior to those of us who are disabled causes tremendous harm.

Big credit to you, the people who made Bluesky what it is. You built the communities and made this a place where people want to be. To everyone who's been here, thank you. To everyone just arriving or finding your way back, welcome. The internet is better when it belongs to the people using it. 🦋

It turns out that when one algorithm decides what’s pushed to everyone, it shapes what people think is happening. That’s why Bluesky lets you choose your own feeds, and why no single company should control what millions of people see. Including us.
