    Guess what happened in OT. Hage absolutely undressed the OSU players and set up the winner. It’s a 5 point night for Hage in a 5-4 win. 20 points in 9 games for Hage.

    So … The kid wanted to get an education. Is he ready for pro hockey ? Yes. He is and he was. Can he be like Martone and Misa in the NHL right now who he was better than at the worlds ? Yes yes he can. So his numbers are amazing and they should be. He’s 20. That doesn’t mean he’s not superb.

    I don’t mind Hage owning the puck and developing his stick skills. Kotkaniemi completely messed up his development in the NHL. You gotta have the puck to development as a forward. Ain’t gonna happen chasing up and down the ice without it in the NHL.

    I expect him to succeed. I think he will be a 60 point second line centre. 80 point realm will be hard without PP time but with Demidov 60 to 70 points is the target I like for him. Other WJC guys are struggling- Iginla Martin turned pro and are whiffing so far. It ain’t easy.
