Postu gösterHow are we different? We teach the lowest 10%. No one else does this successfully; some of the best-known ‘reading interventions’ actually ignore this group. Your students will catch up completely. The length of time on the programme is determined by the student’s rate of progress.
Postu gösterGood to see a balanced debate about ‘reading for pleasure’ and debate the term too. Context matters - reading in primary school is very different to secondary. My experience with struggling teen readers is that it's the wrong starting point for them, even if it is a worthy end goal.
