at least for cancelling one art into another art, you can just keep hitting the button for the next art until it cancels iirc. cancelling auto attacks into arts or an art into a blade switch does require timing I think
Postu gösternot sure if this is a controversial opinion but for like. 2/3rds of xb2 I was cancelling arts thinking that you had to actually time it to get the cancel bonus instead of being able to mash. and I was always sort of disappointed finding out that you totally *can* mash and there's no reason not to
