Postu gösterAm very much looking forward to my first meeting with the new Special Rapporteur next week where we will discuss how Front Line Defenders can continue to work with the Mandate on behalf of HRDs at risk during these appalling times.
Postu gösterI was privileged to join this visit in Ecuador and met with the key HRD groups and hear directly about the deteriorating context there. Terrific courage shown by these networks and FLD continues to support the key work in Ecuador.
Postu gösterThis new partnership of governments, philanthropic funders and civil society organisations establishes a crucial support mechanism for human rights defenders, and a beacon of hope for those facing reprisals for their crucial work. I'm proud the UK is part of it.
