Postu gösterIf you have an abusive partner who doesn't want you voting, you can't just say you didn't vote. They now know they can easily look it up.
Postu gösterI think election transparency is vital. I'm not comfortable with basic voting records like that being avaiable online though. If you know someone's full name, you can sometimes figure out what precinct they're in (varies by state). This ad also makes it unsafe for people to vote.
Postu gösterThere's an ad I've been seeing about how your voting record is publicly avaiable (not who you voted for, but IF you voted in a specific election). And frankly whoever approved that ad is putting people in danger. Idk if that's on purpose. But it means abusers can further harm victims.
