    there's more factions than ever but I really wish critique also had a corresponding parks-and-rec, obama-era shovel-digging optimistic praxis too. Maybe this is more about inference coops and community-level deplatforming workshops, etc

    It’s a curious experience using AI to code personal projects you don’t know if you’ll use or share. You’re doing something which feels useless on an immediate short-term level, but you also wonder if you’re developing background skills which will be impactful on an unknown new project in the future.
