From a purely logical standpoint, Christians shouldn’t be calling Jews a shande because they aren’t Jewish & the term’s meaning is entirely based in communal self-critique. You can’t tell someone “shut up you’re making us look bad” when you aren’t part of the communal “us” being embarrassed.

It doesn’t mean “traitor”. It means “you are acting like a fool in front of the neighbours”. It means you are bringing disgrace and shame to the rest of us by how you are acting in public”.

And “fur di goyim” doesn’t mean “for non-Jews”. It means “before the non-Jews” or “in front of the non-Jews”. “A shande fur di goyim” doesn’t mean someone who has betrayed the Jewish people for the benefit of non-Jews - it means someone who is acting disgracefully/shamefully in front of non-Jews.

A shande does not mean a traitor! It does not necessarily connote betrayal or disloyalty to the Jewish people! Someone who is a shande might also be that, but a shande is a disgrace / a shame / an embarrassment.
