Mimolette is always fun because of the hard/subtly salty flavor (we call it a Halloween cheese bc we first had it at a Halloween party and it's orange). The camembert was so much better than the States ones we've tried, I was honestly floored -- I am also a Rind guy so that was especially good.

They had this little €6 sampling plate of Normandy sourced cheeses/a butter pat/apple sauce at the grocery today and it was delightful for a late rainy afternoon picnic.. 🧺 🧀 🍎

We've had camembert and mimolette back in the States but to say these were elevated would be an understatement! The Livarot was @findchaos.bsky.social favorite -- more camembert but instead of funky, mineral and sharp as a soft cheese. I loved the Pont L'évêque for the sweetness/soft funk!
