  I am so fucking tired of "seeking justice" being framed as "getting even." Arresting and/or impeaching people who are legitimately guilty of actual crimes is not revenge. It is justice. Innocent people should be released from detention and guilty people should be in prison. Again, that is JUSTICE.

  As a general note, I think one lesson Dems should have learned is that there's nothing to be gained in being slow & methodical. The way to succeed in this media environment is to do *everything at once, all the time*. Always be acting, setting the agenda, dictating the news cycle. Move, move, move.

  I don’t really want to spend all day arguing about it but I will observe that the presumptive Speaker and Senate Majority Leader going “let’s move forward and legislate” while all of the committee chairs are sharpening axes is probably not because the caucus leaders are out of step with their chairs
