    It’s likewise why I didn’t even try Arknights Endfield. But I didn’t feel much need to talk about it (or any game I don’t play for that matter) because it’d be a bit silly to have strong opinions or takes on games I’m not well versed in.

    I'm reminded of how I lost faith in basically anyone ever having any comprehension of Arknights' story at all when at Endfield's launch I saw what I'd generally considered to be the significantly more insightful part of the fanbase claim Endfield was bad cause Endfield does colonialism.

    Like there's an initial layer here of while there's definitely insightful stuff you can and should read about how Endfield sees and treats Landbreakers, that was infact defending UWST research outposts they've had for all the time Terrans had ever been there.

    Then there's the plain mischaracterisation of LBs as indigenous when they're just also terrans which gives away the plain refusal to even try reading anything. But probably the most baffling part to me was, these were people who I know had absolutely loved playing Reclamation Algorithm.
