I was 17 when my grandpa, the best man I ever knew, died. The pastor showed up minutes before his service and delivered a bland eulogy full of generic crap (ex: he said he "loved the Lord"; he was an atheist). I cried with rage afterward. This event is why I spend so much time on every obituary.

With the outrageous deductible and the barebones coverage, I’m basically just paying a $2000/mo protection fee. It’s mafia shit. Having to make $24k extra a year - after taxes! - just in case of an emergency. It’s unconscionable. I don’t just want lower rates, I want a refund paid by insurance CEOs.

If the democrats don’t take aggressive action, the red wave in 2028 will be miserable. People want Mamdani-style change; basic improvements to everyday dignity. They want prosecution for political crimes. They want rights to be codified, companies to be prosecuted, and people to be protected.

They were right about Bluesky being a bubble: It’s a high-information bubble. I’m shocked how much more I know about what’s happening than people who still rely on other social media platforms for news. Not having an algorithm between you and direct information is crucial for an objective reality.
