It was cool to chat with @derpprincess.bsky.social briefly for this story. Together with @flaffymg.neocities.org, they're doing some incredible work to bring MediEvil to PC with a bunch of great QoL improvements. They're also doing it without AI, which deserves all the praise in these times of slop.

MediEvil One of my favourite hack and slash games, with a sharp whit, banger soundtrack, a fantasticly gothic artstyle, and really addictive gameplay with multiple weapons to use to bring down your foes. My one big issue is the controls are a bit janky making crossing thin paths a ball ache.

Postu gösterI spend a lot of time messing with capsule/steamgrid edits of game art for my digital library, so when I discovered the other day that the OFFICIAL RETAIL box art for MediEvil makes use of the same kinds of desperate edits I do when I don't have clean assets to work with, it gave me a good laugh.
