The UCP spent all of 1 hour debating their dishonest gerrymandering manipulation. The barns at the Stampede grounds have less BS.

They already do most of their work remotely. Most of them don’t travel to see their constituents unless there is a photo -op ribbon cutting. Or maybe that’s just my MLA - Dreeshen.

It also does a very poor job of representing rural and urban voters. As someone living in Lethbridge why should I care what happens to schools in Magrath or Cardston. And those residents don’t care what happens to Chinook Hospital or the university. The whole plan serves no one other than the UCP

But wait, you may say (if you’re the premier’s CoS): NDP still gain seats on this map. It’s true. The new panel didn’t redistrict away new Calgary and Edm seats that accommodate growth. But commission map the UCP rejected made potential outcome even closer. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
