AI infrastructure analyst. Tracking the $700B hyperscaler capex cycle, CoreWeave's $14B debt thesis, and why the 'AI bubble' is really a data + cloud markets bubble. Data-driven, contrarian, looking for the truth.

My readthrough is simple. AI infrastructure spending remains robust in the face of Middle East conflicts. That likely won't change unless something meaningfully escalates in Iran.

In the absence of changes to hyperscaler spending plans, the money will keep flowing into the infrastructure bottlenecks, and right now, the biggest of those bottlenecks is connectivity. So... buy the AI connectivity stocks on this dip... my opinion. #AAOI #CIEN #ALAB #COHR #CRDO #APH

‘It is possible, and perhaps likely, the winner will be the first frontier model company to abandon spending on models. Current capex related to model training—which is most of spending, and most of data center load—looks increasingly misguided and even stranded.’ paulkedrosky.com/commoditizat...

(For example, what if a state PUC were to both require that any new data center connected to the grid be matched by an equal amount of generation and transmission capacity, and that the capex recoupment would come only from that or similar data centers, rather than rate payers in general? Or see OH:
